Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, Donna spent most of her childhood gazing out to sea and dreaming of a life in music. Having grown up on an eclectic diet of Joni Mitchell, Rickie Lee Jones, Big Bands, Sinatra and Ella, Donna found herself drawn to rich, complex harmonies and arrangements which still influence her song-writing today.
